9 Lives

They say cats have nine lives. Unlike them, people rarely get a second chance. This piece is about one of those rare chances.
For me, this drawing is a thank-you to a dear friend who, along with others, helped me return, rise, and move forward. Some people don’t let you lose your life — even when you no longer know what to do with it. It’s about gratitude. And about friendship.
Which, if it’s sincere, can truly give you a new life.
