The White Cat

I thought about how animals, especially cats, manage to be invisible presences and, at the same time, so powerful. They enter a room and somehow the space shifts. It is a silent kind of magic.

And since, in many of my works, duality holds a central place, the cat took shape from tiny dots, like a constellation gathered on canvas. Just as, taken separately, the dots carry no particular meaning and seem ordinary, together they gain sense and form – much like their small, almost invisible gestures quietly change our world without us even realizing.
